Live links to design festival will be for the capital good

In response to your Comment (DW 18 July), the Design Festival is a great idea and it makes sense to have London as the hub for world design, but other parts of the world need to celebrate this festival too as a British celebration. In London we could have a debate – on, say, the future of design – with a live video link to Sydney, New York, Bombay and so on, with the virtual participation of other design capitals.
