The Space Pod, designed by Mmetti director Lee McCormack, launches at 100% Design in September. With a soft leather interior, climate control, adjustable lighting, plasma screen, DVD and Internet access, it was inspired by nature’s protective systems, like tortoise shells, and designed to ‘heighten senses’, says McCormack.
