M&C Saatchi is set to open a new office in Instanbul, Turkey after acquiring a minority stake in advertising agency INSPI(RED).


English Heritage has appointed Carter Wong as part of its new design roster that will run for the next three years. It joins consultancies including Smith & Milton and Mytton Williams.

Service design consultancy Brilliant Basics has hired ex-Sapient managing director Peter Ford as its global chairman.


Founder of Design Indaba Ravi Naidoo is set to receive the 2015 Sir Misha Black Medal for Distinguished Services to Design Education in South Africa. Professor Rachel Cooper OBE from Lancaster University will receive the award for Innovation in Design Education. They will receive their awards at a ceremony held at the Royal College of Art, London on 8 October.

SMACK has appointed Adam Thornton as its new account director, and Edgar Hoffmann as new senior designer. Thornton has previously worked with brands such as Virgin and Boots, and Hoffmann has worked on magazines such as onoffice, Icon and Grand Designs.


Digital consultancy POSSIBLE has appointed Neil Miller as UK CEO. He is co-founder of digital shop DNA, and previously worked at Razorfish.

Tolga Üstüngör has been appointed as creative director at M&C Saatchi Istanbul, the consultancy’s new office. Alp Üstüngör has been appointed as agency head and founding partner.
