Princedale files ú3.8m profit
The Princedale Group, parent of Michael Peters Limited, C&FD and CLK, has notched up “excellent” preliminary figures for the year-end 1994, according to executive chairman Stephen Bennett.
Princedale’s pre-tax profit of ú3.79m represents a 400 per cent rise on 1993. Even after adjustment to discount profits from the sale of subsidiaries, a pre-tax profit of ú1.86m still equals a 144 per cent rise on 1993. Particularly encouraging for Princedale is the recovery in its marketing services division which includes MPL, CLK and C&FD and saw operating profits rise by 179 per cent.
MPL “enjoyed a good year”, says the group, with turnover up ú1m on 1993 to ú4.5m. CLK had a year “of steady expansion with profits in line with budget”.
