Images 24; About Collage; The Art of Star Wars; A Positive View 2

The competition-based illustration exhibition organised by the Association of Illustrators is held from 11-20 April. Images 24 attracts work into advertising, books, editorial, print, student and unpublished work categories.

Venue: The Seminar Rooms, Royal College of Art, Kensington Gore, London SW7.

About Collage, from 7 April until 4 March 2001, presents a personal story of Peter Blake in collage form by bringing together works from the Tate Liverpool and Blake’s personal collection. Work on display will include Blake’s collaborations in the worlds of pop music, literature and entertainment. An illustrated catalogue accompanies the exhibition.

The Art of Star Wars, from 13 April until 3 September, explores the creative process that bought all four Star Wars movies to the big screen. On display will be original models, paintings, drawings and costumes.

Venue: Barbican Art Gallery, Barbican Centre, Silk Street, London EC2.

A Positive View 2 exhibits photographs by some of the most important photographers of the 20th century, which include Henri Cartier-Bresson, David Bailey, Mario Testino and Rankin. The exhibition runs from 13-27 April.
