An inflatable ovoid canopy has been revealed as the design for this year’s Serpentine Pavilion in London’s Kensington Gardens, created by architect Rem Koolhaas and structural designer Cecil Balmond. The canopy will float above the gallery’s lawn and be lit up from within at night. The pavilion opens in June.
