Dutch graphics group Well Strategic Design is set to recruit for a London office it is opening to target the UK fashion industry.

The 50-strong consultancy has offices in The Netherlands, Germany and Taiwan. It is also planning an office in Milan to service an existing unnamed client.

“We have a representative [Daniel Blundell], who is doing research and speaking to potential clients in London,” says Well managing director Hans Lormans.

The London base will be established in the next two or three months and will be six-to-eight-strong, says Lormans. It will be headed by Blundell.

Meanwhile, Well has created a new identity and positioning for Dutch jeans brand Dobber. Client Scanfashion wants to move the label, which already sells in Scandinavia and Benelux, into the UK and Germany. Having had two Swedish owners and one Dutch, the brand had lost its way and market share, says Lormans.
