Contra will unveil its recommendations for the development of global packaging company Huhtamaki’s brand strategy in the first half of next year.
Contra is looking at all aspects of the company’s communications, from its brand identity to the website and marketing material, to ensure that they ‘reflect the brand offer’.
‘Huhtamaki has acquired companies in the past two years and it wants to consolidate its strategy. It wants to take the best values of the companies it has bought and ensure the voice of the company communicates what it does both internally and externally,’ according to Contra chief executive officer Antti Ohrling.
Ohrling says that it is too early to say how the strategy will manifest itself.
‘We need to discover the tools that Huhtamaki needs to reflect its values. All options are open,’ he says.
The consultancy, which was appointed at the end of November, was awarded the work following a strategic pitch.
