I-D Media website is set to make a splash

I-D Media will work on the creative treatment of Urban Splash’s website, having seen off competition from 100 consultancies.

The project, worth between £50 000 and £100 000, was put out to tender in October. Ten groups were selected to pitch for it about four weeks ago.

I-D Media has just had its site architecture and mapping concept signed off and is about to begin work on the site’s look and feel.

Urban Splash specialises in high-end development and redevelopment of residential and commercial property.

I-D Media managing director Helen Wright describes it as ‘a very, very cool, kick-ass company’.

The brief, she says, is to design a site that attracts new business and helps to retain existing clients. The design will be based around Urban Splash’s existing strapline ‘Space x Imagination’. It will also use animation and ‘stunning images’, Wright claims, ‘to reflect the look synonymous with Urban Splash’s developments’.

Urban Splash director Nick Johnson says, ‘We wanted our new website to reflect the brand, overall look and lifestyle of Urban Splash.’

Based in Germany, I-D Media is a relative newcomer to the UK having launched last year.
