No stalling on CDG’s market job

Conran Design Group has created a new identity for Watford’s main market. The consultancy is now designing a refurbishment of the 1858m2 market for Watford Council.

The council is determined to re-establish the market’s historical role in the town. The market dates back to medieval times and has held a royal charter for more than 700 years.

The identity, and a signage programme also designed by CDG, have just been unveiled. The refurbishment will be complete towards the end of spring. Included in the scheme will be a redesigned café area.
