Watch it, you’ll be sued for messing on the Net

Jonathan Sands should not get too excited at the prospect of registering the name of his lawyer as an Internet address (Diary, DW 31 January). His lawyer would be able to follow a High Court precedent recently established by Harrods and sue him for passing off or trade mark infringement.
