Moira Westfill-Harvey, a design and graphic arts graduate of Anglia Polytechnic University, has had her work selected for the international stage of the Olympic Art and Sport Contest 2000.
The sport-themed event was launched by the International Olympic Committee to commemorate the Millennium Olympic Games in Sydney this summer.
It was open to all art students and current athletes involved in any Olympic sport. The two categories encompass paintings, drawings and engravings.
Westfill-Harvey’s work will be exhibited at the Sydney Olympics if successful in the competition.
British hockey player Hannah Bennett and cyclist Richard Ballard will be Britain’s other two representatives in the international competition.
