A tipple too far leads to design faux pas

It’s amazing what a bunch of barristers and copious amounts of alcohol can do to a person when they begin to reflect on the effects of their fellow designers.

Both elements helped one anonymous freelance designer at last week’s Inns of Court Ball, who categorically states that ‘designers are up their own arses’.

After making this grandiose statement, the young lady then went on to surpass herself with the announcement that ‘designers don’t save the world and design is a load crap’.

Having previously worked on corporate identity projects for the BBC and NTL, her clients will no doubt be delighted and encouraged to hear her outspoken opinions about the design industry.
