Cada Design has the nose for on-line wine

A new on-line wine company, positioned as the leading site for global information on wine, has appointed Cada Design Group to create individual identities for each of its sub-brands.

The London design group developed the corporate identity for the portal,, which launched in May. The site provides information on wholesalers, retailers, auctions, worldwide wine regions and travel.

The first sub-brand – – is due to go live later inthe year, with additional brands going on-line in the future. Cada Design Group director David Anderson explains: “We wanted to create a brand family that captures the spirit of the wine industry, while coming across as a professional and comprehensive business-to-business resource.” managing director David Metcalfe adds: “We were really keen to use a design consultancy which could create a professional image for our new service, and yet make it visually appealing and, most importantly, market appropriate.”
