Design Net creates a Really Useful website

Really Useful Group, the production company set up by Andrew Lloyd Webber, has appointed digital media specialist Design Net to create a new double-edged website, following a ten-way pitch.

With Cats, Starlight Express and Joseph and The Technicolour Dream Coat among its most successful productions, Rug will be showcasing all its activities on the new site.

The site will also aim to provide fans with news of shows, music, stars, reviews and links to on-line ticket brokers.

It will also carry educational information for teachers and their pupils in an effort to enhance the theatre experience through a better understanding of each show.

A Design Net spokeswoman says: ‘We’re only on the initial stages of developing the site, having signed a contract last week, so it won’t go live for another eight to ten weeks.’
