SCP is appealing for witnesses after design-conscious thieves stole two bicycles designed by product designer Marc Newson from its shop in London’s Shoreditch. The thieves snatched an MN01 Extravaganza, worth £3450, and an MN02 Bonanza, which retails at around £2000. Sheridan Coakley from SCP says: ‘We’ve never sold bicycles before – maybe this is a sign that we shouldn’t stray into this retail zone.’
