Freelancing doesn’t have to be hair-raising

What a breath of fresh air to read your editorial in Design Week last month on graphic humour (DW 24 May).

Some six years ago, I started working as a freelance. During that time I have always found that having no hair is a great asset in getting people to relax, once the initial curiosity is passed. Therefore since going solo I have used this (asset?) on my stationery. We are not all totally grey out here.

If you’ve got it – or if you haven’t – flaunt it!

    Thank you for publishing the article about Frank’s logo.It brought back many happy and funny memories .The logo kept going throughout his freelance career and he remained hairless to keep up the image!
