There are a couple of events for film buffs taking place this week. The first is the Architecture on Film season at the RIBA. Within the series are films on Bauhaus in America, films by Charles and Ray Eames, Christopher Frayling’s A Tale of Three Cities and Film, Scale, Space, a discussion with Danny Boyle, Andrew Macdonald and Kave Quinn – director, producer and production designer of Shallow Grave and Trainspotting. Alternatively, the 3rd Bradford Film Festival starts on the 7 March at the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television. Alongside films such as Vertigo, A Self Made Hero, The Addiction and Rats in the Rank are several master-classes with key figures in the film industry, including Nick Cassavetes and Hammer film duo Freddie and Pamela Francis.
