So on hearing that a charity for Kosovan orphans had some high profile underwear available, the boys at Wiltshire-based Storm took immediate action. Managing director George Martino and two creative directors, Alex Bane and Spencer Buck, bid 325 for a glossy picture of ‘page 3 stunner’ Michelle Clack and her knickers. ‘Spencer and Alex have been wearing the knickers on their heads all day,’ laughs Martino.
A patent filed by the company reveals a mobile with thermal elements embedded into the screen, which would heat it up and fill any cracks if it became damaged.
