Addison Corporate Marketing has been appointed to design the 2004 interim report and the 2004/5 annual report for mining and natural resources company Anglo American.
According to Addison chief executive Quentin Anderson, Addison won the competitive pitch by beating nine mainstream design groups. The final brief was then put together from a credentials meeting between the two groups.
The consultancy’s brief for the report and accounts stipulates the clear need to understand Anglo American’s values and demonstrate these through the report, explains Anderson.
Discussions about the final route for the creative work are currently underway. Client director James Brock says the interim report will be completed in the autumn, while the annual report will be published in spring 2005.
