Ian Logan unveils his shopkeeper ambitions

Brand extension is the name of the game today, not least among graphic design gurus. Ian Logan has turned shopkeeper with the opening of an upmarket retail outlet at his Charterhouse Square offices.

Logan sources his wares himself and plans to stock “anything I feel is fun which has a bit of relevance”, he says.

He has some French bird-scarers on order, and, of course, Logan-packaged products will be on sale. The plan is to give a window to a craft person every so often.

Can we expect to see a chain of Logan stores soon? Perhaps followed by a couple of restaurants? Terence Conran should watch out.
