Rawls & Company has created a new ticket desk for Thomson Tour Operations, intended to create a welcoming alternative to the traditional ranks of airport desks.

“The new design aims to bring much more holiday appeal to airports which are often very serious, regimented and somewhat daunting places,” says Rawls creative director Howard Saunders.

The design has launched at Gatwick, Cardiff and Manchester. The operator plans to roll the desk out to a further 22 sites world-wide by Christmas.
