Black Pig’s prime marque just the job for Prestige

Prestige Staffing Services this week unveils an identity by Black Pig Design, as the Saffron Walden-based recruitment agency kicks off expansion plans with a second branch in Newmarket.

The work, ultimately worth £30 000 in fees to the group, involved marketing research, brand development and website design. The new look will be applied across the website, interiors and all stationery, promotional material and signage from this week.

According to Prestige Staffing Services director Andy Dye, Black Pig Design was briefed to create a ‘nice, plain look that totally goes against the norm and can easily be lifted and placed across three to five branch organisations.’

The group opted to avoid the ‘stereotypical picture of a cheesy, smiling woman’, instead going with a ‘simple, colour-washed picture of a “road to nowhere”‘, says Black Pig Design head of creative Lisa Garwood.

The strapline ‘The search stops here’ communicates the idea that ‘once [candidates and clients] find Prestige, they’ve found where they need to be’, Garwood explains.

The black and blue colour- scheme is intended to reflect the company’s professional image and is easily applied across the six sectors in which it works, she adds.

Black Pig Design won the work in July following a four-way unpaid credentials pitch.
