Kingston set experiment is a high-brew roadshow
Obscure objects of desire – and perhaps a load of old tat from the potting shed – will be under scrutiny next Thursday, when Kingston University students hold a ‘curatorial experiment’ at London’s Design Museum.
The public are encouraged to bring things of personal value, ‘from an iPod to a tea cosy’, for experts including design writer Jonathan Bell, the RCA’s Fiona Raby and Gareth Williams from the V&A to pronounce over.
Sort of like an Antiques Roadshow with intellectual pretensions then. Details from catherine.ince@virgin.net.
