IPG revenues fall during first half of 2005

Interpublic Group has reported a year-on-year fall in global revenues of 2.6 per cent at its Constituent Management Group, for the first six months of 2005.

The $11.6m decline of CMG – comprising FutureBrand, Jack Morton, Weber Shandwick, De Vries, Golin Harris and Octogan – contrasts with 2.7 per cent increases from its Integrated Agency Networks. IPG also parried the threat of being delisted last week, by restating its earnings back to 2000.
