Photographer Simon James takes us to the very ends of London Underground at Mind the Gap, from 6 September until 6 October. The exhibition is accompanied by a book published by HarperCollins, selling at a special price of £12.99 for the duration of the show.

Richard Billingham, David Hockney, Martin Maloney and Kristin Calabrese present works of a domestic nature at Home. Family portraits, stained wallpaper and lamps made from industrial-sized plastic ketchup bottles feature at the exhibition, until 14 October.

The 20th anniversary of the debut of Memphis, the Italian design collective led by Ettore Sottsass, is celebrated at Memphis Remembered, from 7 September until 4 November. The group’s landmark designs will be featured and the exhibition will analyse the movement’s influence over today’s designers, from Marc Newson to Jasper Morrison.

Installation artist Caitlin Heffernan and mixed media artist Sandra Beccarelli join forces at Collective Pulse from 6-30 September. Using different techniques, the focus of their work is light within environments, particularly celebrating the place of the individual in the city.
