Will the creatives ever leave London? Technology is supposed to have made location irrelevant, but can media people only thrive in the atmosphere of creative smog in London?

The East of England hopes not. With its scattering of creative companies – from TV production firms Imago, which produces Trisha for Channel 5; Televirtual, which did all the work on avatars for the Dome and BT; and some of the UK’s leading games software producers – the county aims to create a ‘scene’ that can attract more businesses into the open spaces. Not just ad and marketing agencies, but animators, artists, architects, games software designers…
