Newell and Sorrell is believed to be carrying out a feasibility study for British Airways’ identity. A spokeswoman for BA refuses to specify details but says the group has been officially added to the airline’s roster to ‘work on parts of our communications brief’. She stresses: ‘Whatever happens, we are unlikely to drop the “British” from our identity.’
