DMB&B has designed the logo and strapline for Société Générale to celebrate the French bank’s 125 years of banking in the UK next year.

The red and black identity, which was unveiled this week, is designed to have synergy with the bank’s sponsorship of the forthcoming exhibition of Impressionist art being held at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.

The bank has more than 500 offices and 45 000 employees worldwide. The new look will be applied throughout Europe to brochures, T-shirts, caps and Swatch watches.

The consultancy expects the events planned to celebrate the bank’s anniversary will lead to further design work.
