A 7-year-old brings in new business

A seven-and-a-half-year-old boy has won Poole-based consultancy David Clark Design a ton of new clients since penning the company’s new business letter, complete with cute drawings.

OK, so admittedly the wee nipper – called Alfie, who happens to be the son of joint managing director Jonathan Clark – didn’t actually write it, but it is written in his style, in childish handwriting.

He tells prospective corporate clients that ‘his Dad does designs and things’ and works ‘for lots of other big companies as well’.

The letter has doubled the size of the business, says Alfie’s doting dad, who will be retiring early in a few years to let Alfie take the reins.
