London design group Fingal Design has created a new identity for the British Rally Championship’s latest professional race series, The Rally Masters. The logo launches at the Autosport International motorsport show in Birmingham in January.
The new marque will brand the series at the Autosport show and be used on Channel 4 and Sky Sports, which will broadcast the championship. Fingal is also designing the new website, which launches in January and will run live on Rally Masters weekends.
“The new marque needs to be eye-catching and contemporary to position the series to its target audience of 18to 30-year-olds,” says Fingal Design managing director Francis Jago.
The consultancy is also creating brochures and merchandising around the new race series, which runs in tandem with each round of the British Rally Championship.
According to Andy Moss, managing director of series promoter First Motorsport, “The new identity reflects the qualities of our new series – excellent ideas, professionally presented.”
