Stand up to gremlins

It is acknowledged, at least within design group Glazer, that head of strategy Isabel Collins jinxes any piece of electrical equipment she uses.

But she surpassed herself at a recent conference on internal communications. As she entered the building, the hotel lights failed and she gave her presentation by candlelight. Her laptop refused to work with the projector so she described a document to the audience using a single A4 copy.

Luckily, her training as an actress and stand-up comic came in handy and she and the audience saw the funny side.
