Two acrylic side-tables created by MCD furniture designer Alexander Taylor are being unveiled on 20 February at an exhibition at London auction house Sotheby’s.
The tables extend Taylor’s Clearcut range of chairs, which feature slices of strong colour, such as pink and red, contrasting with transparent interlocking plastic.
A Clearcut chair is also being created in blue for the exhibition, entitled Contemporary Decorative Arts.
MCD was approached by Sotheby’s curator Rachael Barraclough to take part in the exhibition, which will also feature glass, lighting, ceramics, jewellery, metalwork and textiles. It runs until 1 March.
