Interiors for luxury hotel Sofitel St James London

Interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon has created interiors for luxury hotel Sofitel St James London, which opens on 1 May.

Rochon’s designs preserve the neo-classic heritage of the building, which used to be the bank Cox & King’s, a Sofitel spokeswoman says.

Furniture pieces and portraits have been taken from the former boardrooms of the bank, which will be set against light colourways and lit with ‘dramatic lighting’.
