Greig & Stephenson, the architect that worked on London’s Borough Market, has transformed a 740m2 Bermondsey warehouse into a coffee roasting storeroom, office and training venue for Monmouth Coffee Company. The retailer has coffee shops in London’s Covent Garden and Borough Market. The scheme aims to maximise natural light by extensive use of glass, while ventilation is provided by a synthetic ‘sock’ that runs throughout the premises.
