Nokia chief designer Frank Nuovo aims to combine sophisticated technology with functional simplicity in this Nokia 9110 Communicator. The product comprises a digital GSM phone, Internet access, e-mail, telefax, a short message service and a personal organiser. It was created jointly by Nokia’s US and Finnish in-house design teams and US consultancy Designworks. ‘The 9110 embodies the Nokia brand values of friendliness, approachability and ease of use,’ says Nuovo. The Communicator launches later this month.
