Toothbrush giant Oral-B worked with Californian consultancy Lunar Design on the new CrossAction brush launched this month. The formidable-looking implement features bristles at opposing angles and a wide grip with ‘rubber gripping features and intentional curvature in key locations for additional comfort and control’. Research showed that consumers tend to use one of five basic grips when brushing their teeth. The new brush aims to suit all of them.

The New Year sees the launch of a new identity for the Telegraph Colour Library. Produced by HGV, the flexible identity uses visual puns in a bid to build on the service’s reputation as being friendly and responsive. The identity will be applied to stationery, packaging, catalogues and ad campaigns for the photolibrary.
