Retail study at Athens Airport

Retail design specialist John Herbert Partnership has completed the first stage of a retail design study for the new International Athens Airport, at Spata.

The London consultancy won the job after teaming up with airport consulting group CPI. The four-phase project is to be used as the basis of a plan to maximise the effectiveness of commercial activities at the airport, which is expected to be popular with tourists.

JHP previously developed retail facilities at terminals two, three and four at Heathrow Airport. It is currently developing a new shopping concept for passengers at Zurich.
