3 Afroditikrassa’s Candy Light design for John Lewis is one of the products featuring in Design Nation’s Eureka 2005 design-to-retail collection, exhibiting at the Oxo Tower Gallery in London from 21 September to 2 October. The designs are entered for the Laurent-Perrier Design Award, the winner of which is announced on 26 September.

4 BBC design roster consultancy 999 Design London has put together a brochure to promote the interactive features of BBCi.

5 Anglepoise has designed a lamp that is three times the size of its original. It retails at £1950.

6 The Firefli Lighting system, by Ravensbourne College of Design Communication Interaction Design student Kelvin Chau, is one of the pieces featured in Part 2 of the New Designers exhibition, running from 7-10 July at the Business Design Centre in north London.

9 Third Eye Design has created six postcards to commemorate the 160th anniversary of The Glasgow School of Art. GSA graduate illustrators were commissioned for the designs.
