Design-led Danish audio visual company Bang & Olufsen is launching a cordless telephone, BeoCom 2.

Created by in-house principal designer David Lewis, the phone is made from a single piece of slimline brushed aluminium and is available in blue, yellow and natural colours.

It fits the shape of the head and has a ‘natural, tranquil’ ringing tone that ‘announces its presence in a friendly way’ compared with the ‘sharp, synthetic ring tones of modern telephones’, Bang & Olufsen claims.
