The organisation behind Anya Hindmarch’s infamous I’m Not a Plastic Bag (DW 22 February) will launch yet another campaign against plastic bags on 14 June. The logo for Plastic Ain’t My Bag, an initiative aimed at retailers, has been designed by Antidote. Shops will be asked to display the logo to indicate to consumers that plastic bags will not automatically be given out. In addition, social change movement We Are What We Do will encourage retailers to join a tracking competition to monitor plastic bags being used. The winner will be promoted on its website.
