English Heritage’s 2002 visitor handbook is to be published this week

English Heritage is publishing its 2002 visitor handbook this week, designed and produced by Citrus. The handbook is designed to enhance the profile of the conservation organisation and ‘reveal the beauty, diversity and historical relevance of its properties’, a Citrus spokeswoman says.

The 248-page book, 280 000 copies of which will be published, is a guide to all the 400+ English Heritage-owned properties and monuments and is designed to inspire people to visit them. Photography is by Jo Crowther. Citrus won the project without a pitch on the strength of existing work with English Heritage for its members’ magazine, Heritage Today.
