Fullers taps into different style bars

Fullers Brewery is trialling a new bar concept which will not carry the Fullers brand. Interiors, graphics and logo are by Design House.

The venues, aimed at professional single men and women, are intended to bridge the gap between the local pub, wine bar and casual restaurant.

The opening of the White Horse in Richmond is being followed by a second site in Islington – called The Crown – to be unveiled before Christmas, with a third in the planning process. Other Fullers work by Design House includes the Ale & Pie pub brand and pub and hotel concept English Inns (DW 17 May).

Design House is yet to fill its position of creative director left vacant by Peter Rae (DW 19 July). The consultancy expects to make an announcement in a matter of weeks.
