Airport bar by Harrison Design

Birmingham group Harrison Design is developing a bar concept for the new Eurohub link at Birmingham International Airport after being appointed by developer Compass Group in July.

The 120-seater bar is due to open in mid-December and will be situated on an elevated first floor site. “It will have a fantastic vantage point from which you can see the whole runway and planes refuelling,” says Harrison Design design director Dean Concannon.

“Clean modern glass and burnished steel will blend with mellow timbers and leather,” according to Harrison managing director Philip Harrison.
