The Second Glasgow International Festival of Design; Please Touch; The 20th Chelsea Crafts Fair; The annual Society of Scottish Artists

The Second Glasgow International Festival of Design will run from 8-24 October. The festival includes talks by Wayne Hemingway and Alberto Alessi.

Please Touch shows furniture designs by seven artists. The event runs from 9 October until 9 January 2000 in Glasgow and 18-30 October in London.

The 20th Chelsea Crafts Fair will run from 12-24 October. The fair will feature jewellery, ceramics, glass and home furnishings.

Venue: Chelsea Old Town Hall, King’s Road, London SW3.

The annual Society of Scottish Artists show features innovative work from over 250 contemporary artists, from 9 October until 6 November.

Venue: The Royal Scottish Academy, The Mound, Edinburgh EH2 2EL.
