Creative Forum highlights the politics of design

Regarding the World Creative Forum’s most important achievement and what its future direction should be (Vox Pop, DW 30 September), the WCF has shown us all that design is ultimately a political act that has consequences far beyond products or services.

Regarding the World Creative Forum’s most important achievement and what its future direction should be (Vox Pop, DW 30 September), the WCF has shown us all that design is ultimately a political act that has consequences far beyond products or services.

Design will become one of the key forces that drives development worldwide.

However, the WCF needs to avoid pontificating on policy and find a way to promote action.

And we’re not talking about dancing girls, here.
