Ylva Persson, formerly new business manager at design group Curious, has been appointed as global marketing director of Swedish Vodka company Svensk. While at Curious, Persson was responsible for design and marketing strategy for Svensk.

Following work on The Square, in London’s Mayfair, the group has designed The Glasshouse in Kew, south west London, which opened last week. The 70-seat restaurant seeks a balance between minimalism and comfort with a fully glazed frontage, polished wood floors and high ceilings. Artist and curator Oliver Bevan was appointed to select and commission paintings for the restaurant.

Catalogue specialist group AGA London has been appointed to design the next two sales brochures for London department store Harrods.
