Deutsche Bank is unveiling a new retail concept at German supermarkets which is aimed at reaching a new target audience.
Design is by Ryan, a US consultancy based in Barcelona, says a bank spokesman.
There was no pitch for the job because Ryan had already designed “some aspects” of existing branches, according to the Deutsche Bank spokesman.
The first branch will open in a supermarket in Duisburg in November, and will be rolled out to 100 supermarkets.
“It may go into more,” says the spokesman for the bank. “But we will take it step by step.”
