Light & Coley has created a graphic identity for the Jet petrol station chain, and logos for three sub-brands.

A blue, yellow and red logo works as an umbrella for Jet Aviation, Jet Liquefied Petroleum Gas and Jet Marine.

The consultancy has already been involved in the design of forecourt and shop concepts for Jet with Lumsden Design Partnership (DW 31 May).

Managing director Alan Coley sees this development as “working backwards from the usual corporate identity order”, as the project started with retail and is now moving into identity, vehicle livery and stationery. “It’s usually the other way round,” he adds.

The overall logo will not appear on signage at petrol stations.

The project was masterminded by Light & Coley design director Martin Seymour.
