Austin Knight HQ opts for ‘flexible’ look

The final touches are being put to the redesigned London headquarters of recruitment advertising agency Austin Knight. Tilney Lumsden Shane designed the new concept.

Austin Knight wanted a “more flexible and democratic” environment, says a TLS spokeswoman.

The existing mahogany fixtures in the Soho Square building were removed to make way for new technology and desking, allowing a more flexible workplace.

Austin Knight company secretary John Upwood is pleased: “Tilney Lumsden Shane not only advised us on the interior design, but also helped us to think laterally about what we wanted from our offices.”

TLS has redesigned computer giant IBM’s Press Centre on London’s South Bank. Features introduced include a wall of TV monitors and computer screens.
